MR Video Plus Pricing Announced

Just a quick technical note: The videos will play in HTML5 on all mobile devices and on laptops or desktops using Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer as the browser. Flash is the default video player for Firefox, and the player will revert to Flash if your device does not support HTML5.

Thanks for reading MR,

Terry

I’m gonna skip it.

I will use the $25 to buy a piece of flex track. [(-D]

Wow, that’s some real expensive flextrack[(-D]

I think I’m going to pass on it now, which I’m sure will bite me in the long run. I was pretty impressed with the videos. Probably would get more use out of them than the magazine, because of how I learn.

Terry, playback through Flash is unacceptable on Firefox, with frequent freezes. I’m on a Mac, and playback is fine on Safari. Unfortunately, Firefox is my default browser. This is the first Video Plus video with which I’ve had a problem–so perhaps something changed at your end.

I hope you or your vendor can optimize Flash playback, perhaps by offering quality choices rather than defaulting to “auto.” I also can do without the jump cuts and random strobe flashes, but that’s a personal preference.

I have a Mac and Flash in Firefox is fine for me. Have you updated your Flash Plugin in Firefox?[I]

Good suggestion, thanks. I have, unfortunately, and in fact I checked before I posted my comment. I just tried it again, though, and it’s better, so It could have been a speed bump with FiOS this morning. I’ll keep watching it for a while.

Verizon FIOS in the late afternoon sometimes lags where I am.[8-|]
