I’m building a new layout after a move and use an MRC autoreverse module. This is kind of embarrassing but I can’t find the instruction sheet and forgot which wires go where or if it matters. Do the red wires connect to track power and the yellow to the reversing section?
Wow! That was short and sweet!
Can I piggy back on this topic now the questions’ been answered?
I have a loop to loop dogbone layout (A reversing loop at each end.) The loops are powered through the same Atlas Twin switch. By luck rather than care, the system is working so that when the polarity is set for the main going into one loop, the same is true for the other. So, I don’t REALLY need polarity indicator lamps, but I would like to put them on.
I’ve experimented with a bi-color LED, but can’t get consistent results.
Could someone please point me to a web page (I have no good access to back issues of magazines) where the wiring for reversing loop polarity indicators is shown.
Thanks .
Der,
Don’t have a reference for the polarity indicator lamps, but once someone cites one, you do have access via photocopies of MR articles from: customerservice@kalmbach.com
and, you can get photocopies of back issue articles from MR and most other RR magazines from the NMRA’s Kalmbach Memorial Library: http://www.nmra.org/library/
for a reasonable fee, even if you’re not a member. Admittedly, we can’t control the speed of the snail mail.
