MRC DCC Auto Reverse Loop Module

I’m looking to buy an Auto Reverse Loop Module.

Anyone have any experience/comments as to which one is best (to run a trolley/streetcar line), I’m looking at the MRC.

Thanks,

John

I use Tony’s PS Rev for a very large reversing section with no problems.

I have heard good things about the PS Rev. I have also heard not so good things about the MRC. Basically if you are looking for any DCC product stay far far away from MRC. Anything else should suit you fine.

I dont know if you are doing this, but if you are getting power from an overhead wire you dont need reversing modules.

I have 2 of the MRC auto reversers and they work well. I also have one of the Digitrax AR1’s. It works well also, and it allows some configuration such as the current trip limit. The MRC is just simple plug and play, but it will only work with less than 2 amps of load.

I have several MRC DCC products (PA, Auto Reverser, Booster, Additional Cabs, MRC Sound Decoders) and have only had a problem with one MRC Sound Decoder. I spoke to MRC and they replaced it free of charge and I have not had a problem with it since. I find all of the MRC bashing very entertaining, since I have had more issues with QSI and Digitrax decoders than any MRC product.

Hope this helps,

Kevin

Thanks Jeff.

Thanks Joe

Thanks Kevin

I appreciate the input from each of you. Plan to have overhead wires, don’t know if I will power them, perhaps later.

Thanks again.

John
