I have an MRC Dual Power transformer that no longer puts out power on one side. The circuit breaker is not operable on that side. I believe that this condition is the result of some rather enthusiastic operation by grandkids. My local repair shop has told me that these units are not made to be serviced. If this is true I now have a half train controller and half boat anchor on my control panel. Anyone know any thing about these MRC units?

My dad has one of those transformers on his layout and he experienced a similar issue. He contacted MRC and they set him up with the appropriate parts. They did offer to repair it as well, but the shipping costs from Canada would have been a fortune. None the less, I know he said MRC was good to deal with and his transformer is back up and running.
