Just finished reading MRP '09 over the weekend. Really liked Dan Holbrook’s article on creating “a railroad atmosphere” in the layout room and having work areas to keep things of the layout. Now my question is did anyone notice anything out of place in the picture on page 46???
If you are referring to the box of Alieve, it is a bit out of scale for trash along the rightaway. It is in a handy place though if his trackwork, engines or cameraman are giving him a headache.

Good Gravy, I must have looked at that picture two dozen times and never noticed it! I know guys who have installed cup holders at regular intervals on their layouts. A pain killer dispenser makes some sense. Could this have been a paid product placement?
