Did anyone see the Sopranos tonight? Bobby Backala has a great layout in his garage. Who knew? The hobby got some great exposure tonight.

Missed it, alas - still working my way through Season 5 on DVD. It’s like a Patrick O’Brien novel - you have to see them in order for it to make sense.
I think if I were married to Janice, I’d spend as much time in the garage as possible.
I liked the scene towards the end when Tony is giving Baccala a good dressing down, and he’s got his train engineer’s hat on the whole time! My wife really appreciated the humor in that!
Frank Sanatra was a big toy train guy, so if it’s good for Ole Blue Eyes, I guess It’s ok for

very interesting . i won’t be seeing it for at least a year (i don’t pay for the station that the new season is on , have to wait till it gets to a regular commercial station)
i think it’s kind of unusual for a mafia guy to be a model railroader , just seems like he should be out earning instead of playing with trains . then again Bobby Bacala is kind of an unusual mafia guy , i mean can you imagine him walking into your store and saying you have to pay protection money or he’s gonna rough you up ? [:D]
Bobby’s about the best of the lot, but he set up the witness tampering that got Junior Soprano acquitted - remember the scenes of him staring the juror down? Or rigging the union election in a bar?
To his credit, though, I can’t remember any scenes of him doing the stuff that the others do almost routinely. They deserve a collective Medal of Freedom for deglamorizing the Mafia.
Whew! For a second there I thought you were talking about the magazine (which could have resulted in my death due to a sudden heart attack).
As to the show I’m with ereimer in that we don’t get the channel that it is on, and even if we did I probably wouldn’t watch it.
