Which magazines do you read the most?
HEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEHE. Oh my should I take a guess??? NOT!
Kevin
Throw in Mainline Modeler, Railmodel Journal, Model Railroading, and N Scale Magazine and then you will have the list of magazines I watch on the newstand.
Even though I model HO, N scale magazine has some of the more innovative techniques and layouts, so I watch it and pick up whenever it has something good in it.
I’m an MR subscriber because I don’t want my MR collection that goes back into the 50s to have holes in it. I’m still generally pleased with MR’s content, finding useful bits in every issue even though I’ve now been in the hobby for 40 years.
Railroad Model Craftsman I buy every month.
Model Railroader because it is more my style. I read Narrow Gauge gazette too, even though I don’t model steam.
Most of the above, but I get the most useful info from Tetsudo Mokei Shumi.

What! no Private Varnish? I guess tecnically that is 12 inches to the foot scale.
I picked 1,2,3,4. I also pick up an occaisional copy of the Gazette. In addition to subscribing to 1,2,3,4 I also subscribe to S Gaugian, NASG Dispatch, S/Sn3 Modeling (obviously I’m in S scale) and Classic Trains. I pick up copies of others as I see something that interests me. I belong to one historical society - Ma & Pa, that puts out a quarterly. My favorite is MR, but I like RMC quite a bit also.
Enjoy

Because I model 1950’s steam, and due to its excellent nostalgia index, I read pretty much every Classic Trains edition that comes out. I also get MR and MRC. Those three only.
MR, and Trains I have subscriptions going back a few years. RMC if I need a nap (I find thier writing painfully boring). MRding every once in a while, but its been getting tough to find lately.
RMC because they cover more detail specific items, but MRR does a better job showing other guys layouts; better pictures, and layout diagrams in scale drawings.
I sunscribe to MR. I used to subscribe to RMC, but didn’t get my money’s worth. Now I look at it at the news stand each month and buy about 1 in 4. I also used to take N Scale and N Scale Modeler, but I have let both of them lapse as well as Trains mag.
Ron
MR because there is always one or two articles that I want to read, also seeing other modelers layouts and the ad’s for new products. Another favorite magazine for me is Model Trains International, it covers small layout designs and is published in the UK.
I chose Model Railroader magazines because I want to catch up some new model e.g SD70ACe or other stuff
What about “Canadian Raiyway
odeler”
been buying mrr for over 40 yrs and imo it’s simply the best! enjoy the others but mrr to me just offers more of what i like to read.terry…
Trains, Model Railroader, Classic Toy Trains, N scale Railroading.
Stan.
Model Railroader.[:D] I get a new subscription every year.[:D]
Model Railroader.

Happy Railroading.[swg][swg]
I regularly read NGSL and RMC because they have excellent information and articles on scratchbuilding, kitbashing, backwoods steam -era railroads(NGSL), and other unusual railroads. I still subscribe to MR but I much prefer more articles on building, painting, and narrow gauge and shortline railroads as opposed to layout showcases.
