These Furlow videos are the best thing on MRVP, and he really adds a lot of personality both to his work and in his presentation. Hopefully there’s still more in the vault!
I’ve always loved the stuff Malcom has done. Some will say his models are too weathered and maybe so. However, because we are modeling reality, I think more weathering than was maybe real adds to the overall realness of a model railroad. It just looks right to me! We’re all entitled to our own opinions on how to reproduce a miniature world. Above all do what makes you happy and forgo the opinions of others who feel it is their job to “Clue us in” on what is right!
Malcom is superb with his weathering. His videos have helped me out with my weathering.
To bad that he not doing anything more current.
