MTA completes 6th Avenue Line maintenance blitz
after a late night dinner last wednesday, fasttrack had
the sixth avenue line out of service, so i used the re-routed
q train to get home – and it worked easily and well. i think
nycta is doing a great job on this – and during the
day, one can see evidence of track work, tunnel lighting changes and “sweep up” in the stations…
I feel sorry for the would-be passengers inconvenienced by the shut-down, but kudos to the 800 workers for helping to make the NYC area a great place to live and work.
