I am surprised that your review fails to mention how difficult it is to remove the shell for a DCC ready version model in order to add a decoder.

You make reference to the automated uncoupling, which is great with F7 being one end and F8 the other end for making the commmand. However, on my model, I am having a very difficult time coupling to cars with those two auto uncouplers. They are so stiff that they even push a string of ten cars down the track rather than coupling to them. Did you have the same problem coupling, or if not, what do you suggest I do so I can couple a single car or more without having to hold the car steady? I plan to use this loco to set cars at far to reach industry spurs, but picking up the car is difficult. Please advise.
