Yay for me! My wife approached me and came forward and announced the “possibility” of getting me another train set this year for xmas. Looking at my avatar, any of you can tell I’m a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She told me she wanted to get me the Steelers steam train that MTH put out a couple of years ago. I have some pics saved of it from old Ebay auctions that she saw. That being said, she has no idea where to look. I called the closest local MTH dealer here and they dont have it. I’ve looked at a few links I have saved and can’t seem to locate it yet. Anyone have thoughts as to who might still have this set? Maybe some Pittsburgh area hobby shops I can call? I’m also excited about this yet because I’ve yet to try an MTH and it’d be pretty cool getting something new. Thanks folks,

Prriscool - I am indeed excited because its the Steelers. I was in Pittsburgh a month ago for the 49ers game and I saw the diesel freight set in station square. I didnt have the money for it though. I assume you work at UPS. so do I [:P]
Call lee paul ( Deltaville Depot ) he has some hes trying to sell and believe if you tell him I sent you he might give you a discount ( freind Of mine) 804-776-7250 hes closed on mondays but call tuesday. Just got a flyer where he was tring to sell some of those sets.
Tell your wife she can buy me a Patriots train set for christmas [:D]. ive been a good man this year, i deserve it. LOL. Its just to bad i dont like MTH. Which makes me ask, have any of you ever seen a Pats train? Id even make an acception on my MTH rule if they made a Pats train. Imagine that at my super bowl party. A hopper full of nachos, a boxcar full of pretzels, and about a dozen beer flatcars [;)].
In fact, MTH does make a Pats train too. At the last train show I went to earlier this year, MTH had a display with the Pats train set up and running, and a bunch of them there for sale. I’ll bet they got a few sales, it was in Januray during the playoffs.
