how do i remove the roof on the streemline cars so i can add people to the int.
I have the rail king version and what you have to do is remove from the bottom as the outer shell is one piece . there are screws on the bottom and then I believe theres mre once you remove the bottom to get the seats out.
Depending on the type of car, you will find 4 to 8 screws on the bottom of the car. Once they are removed, you will have to apply slight pressure to the sides of the car and pull on the roof. The roof has locking tabs on them. A slight twist of the body will help to pop the roof off.
For my MTH RailKing streamlined cars, you remove the 2 screws located under the couplers, then grip the ends of the car with your hands, and twist in opposite directions. The roof should pop off (make sure it has a soft place to land). Joe
