MTH release version 3.1 DCS software

On January 5, 2005 - M.T.H. Electric Trains has released the latest version (3.1) of software for the company’s DCS Digital Command System. It can be downloaded free from www.protosound2.com [:D]

Owners of M.T.H.‘s latest Premier Line GG-1 Electric locomotives and upcoming Little Joe Electrics will require the software if they wi***o manually control the locomotives’ automatic pantographs when running in command mode. Without installing the software into the DCS remote, the user will have no way to manually instruct the locomotives’ pantographs to rise or lower. The software isn’t required if the user elects to allow the engine to automatically raise or lower the pantographs on direction change. Readers can learn more about the pantograph operation by reading the latest news on the Premier Line GG-1 Electrics in the M.T.H. News Archives.
In addition to controlling the pantographs manually, the new 3.1 DCS Software also adds the following new features and corrects the following operational issues found in the DCS system.
