I have the MTH Railking N&W Y6-b 2-8-8-2 with proto-2. It is an extremely smooth performer with all the proto-2 “bells and whistles.” Although it is Railking size, it looks good pulling anything from 6464 type cars to full scale rolling stock. I think you would be happy with a Railking 2-8-8-2.
