i am using conventional control. i have a proto 2.0 0-8-0 switcher that seems to always start up in forward and is locked in forward. i unlock(1 whistle, 3 bell) and it gives me the whistle whistle sound that is has been changed. then i put it in neutral and reset to factory settings(whistle and 5 bells) an it seems to respond. but after shutting it down and restarting it, it goes back to locked in forward. do i need a new battery? i purchased used so do not know if it has always been like this. thanks, mike
If the factory reset isn’t holding, change that battery and get back to us…
