I am thinking of putting this on me Christmas list for the wife. She will not buy anything for the modified so it has to be train stuff. I have at last count 70 ties that I never ware so trains wins.
Anyway any feedback or thoughts? I read a review and It sounded great, but don’t they all.
I actually just saw one in action at the LTS today. It is a VERY smooth and quiet runner, and the sound is great. He was operating it with a NCE system, and was able to access plenty of fuctions. Even without the DCS system from MTH, there seems to be plenty decent sound functions.
The detail was amazing. The smoke is cool (synchronized smoke/chuffs) although it is something that I would never use. He said they are selling very well, and some modelers that don’t model those particular roads/eras are buying them just because they are “cool”. If you are interested, I would say go for it.

Thanks, got the wife working on one for Christmas or Birthday. I am not a big fan of MTS and I use Digitrax for DCC. But this one has my attention.
I think I am going to get the VRG model for Christmass too, it will go well with my southern railway line.
