It’s been slow going (or sometimes stalled for months), but finally found some time over the holidays to work on my layout. I always enjoy the construction photos on the forum for inspiration/motivation. My pictures aren’t much, but I wanted to post some to maybe inspire the next guy to get some work done…
Glad to see you are back in modeling gear. I need a quick boot in the posterrior to get me to do the next step. I have one side of the view block at a reasonable point. Want to do the safety glass next, so grandchildren won’t send locos onto the cement floor. That means that I have to do the facia to hold it. Found I had made a measuring goof, due to the standoff needed to insert the plexiglass. Working space for cutting the long pieces is limited in this weather. Makes it easy to procrastinate. Also, wife works nights, means daytime sawing is limited to days she hasn’t worked the night before, guess what she has a HONEY DO list those days Oh well.
Off to feed the critters and find something not to noisey to do for the rest of the morning.
