MU'ing P2K/P1K diesels

Has anyone had experience with mu’ing P2K/P1K diesels, and problems with the unit running in reverse “pushing” the lead unit due to the directional headlight circuit? Any suggestions for a fix?

I have MU’ed P2K E units and noticed that to some degree. When they run in the other direction does the lead unit then pull the trailing unit? I MU units that run compatibly anyway. Are you running DC or DCC?
