Muncie Train Show this weekend. Who is going?

I am planning on making the hour and a half trip north to check this one out. Who all is going? And for those who have been in the past, how is it?

I plan on going-but I will only have a couple of hours. I seem to always find some bargins there. In past years I’ve gotten an overland powerhouse pacific for 25 and a specrrum mountain for 35, both needed a little work but wow. [swg]Quite a few individuals selling- not as many major hobby shops. There is a large amount of tinplate. It’s worth it to me -admission is reasonable at 5 and free parking.

It’s an hour-and-a-half of interstate driving away for me, too. I’d spend more just on gas for the round trip than I presently have available for my hobby pursuits in general. Gotta sit this one out.

The Naptown & White River club’s next swap meet at Manual High School in Indy is coming up in a couple of weeks I think. I’ll just wait for that one.

It is a bit out of the way for me. But when I compare that show with 200 tables to a show that is 3 weeks away and has 100 tables it is a small price to pay for more choices. Would like to go to both but the funds arent available for that kind of fun. Do they have operating layouts set up as well. I plan on at the very least taking my two sons(10,3) because they enjoy it as much as me. Trying to get the rest of the fam to go and make a day of it. Im hoping they have a good selection of HO and N scale goodies.

I didn’t know about it but I think I’ll head up, I could use a nice country drive!
