Sounds like those Texans are serious about saving their collection. Well, more power to them, I hope they succeed and are able to get it all done. It would be great if they can move the Big Boy 4018 on it’s own wheels rather than having to load it on a truck of some kind.

well if you’re going to move a big boy, keep right on going to cheyenne with it. it’ll save the UP all the negotiations with the california engine and i’m sure they’ll make that move for you without a problem.
