Museum to commemorate 50th anniversary of Churchill’s funeral train

Nice tribute to the Great leader that held Britain and her allies together, in the hour of greatest need.

Hear, Hear!

Churchill’s funeral was the first big event I watched on TV, in black & white of course. His tomb in Bladon churchyard, near Blenheim Palace where he was born, is well worth a visit, as I did last year. I shall try to visit the NRM next year to see the funeral train exhibit.

Ps. Of course Churchill was half American, so this event should be of interest to American readers.
