I’m just wondering, what kind of music do you like? and whichs artists?
I like Heavy metal, rock, the blues. Soundgarden, Metallica, SRV, Gun ‘n’ Roses,Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton and too many for me to list at this time.
i have a pretty broad taste varying from softer rock to heavier rock music, i like system of a down, Guns N Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and a few Australian bands; The Living End (punk rock) Powderfinger (soft rock) Grinspoon and silverchair (rock) also don’t mind some older Greenday…
there is a few older bands that i don’t mind too…
James.
rock, soft rock, ill also accept a few other types anything i can handel except country …
How about Wolfmother? They’re from Australia aren’t they? They’re the best new band I’ve heard this year.

Janis Joplin - WOW. She is my favorite. I was in Salinis last year, but I did not let her slip away. I have a disk of train songs. There are some from every style. Everyone likes train songs. The Russian classics are nice for terraforming. I remember Glen Miller, which is also a favorite. The Eagles are cool as well.
If the thread catches on, we will hear from every music style invented.
Fleetwood Mac Rules!
I wrote a blog on the Locke Saints Marching Band and Drill Team blog about this very subject. . .Enjoy!

oh yeah bergie! i knew there was one i missed, they are good, thanks for reminding me [:)]
james.
Well, at work I listen to high energy dance music type stuff. Just keeps me moveing. While in the garage though, I am hooked on Jazz to mellow out while working on the railroad.
Oh come on, with a name like JAILBREAKER74 you left out the inventors of the power chord? And no one else listed AC/DC thus far? I’m not only shocked, but dismayed. I will list The Thunder from Down Under as one of my top picks. Gotta toss in Van Halen, Motley Crue, Hayseed Dixie, Metallica, and Alice Cooper too. I guess you could say I’m still a headbanger lost in the 80’s musically.
At some times I also throw in some bluegrass or Ray Charles, so I can’t be lumped into any one genre.
.
Summer of Love. Peace, dudes. Jefferson Airplane. Blues Project. Hendrix, and the Beatles and Stones from back then. Grateful Dead forever, too.
Glad I’ve got a 15-year-old, though. Gives me an excuse to go to Green Day concerts and turn System of a Down up loud in the car.
If I’m playing it…I like it. That means everything from light jazz to the heavyest metal disney songs you can think of! (Yea, my friends and I took “Under the Sea” from “The Little Mermaid” and turned it into a very heavy metal song [}:)]
Contemporary Christian praise. Very encouraging. Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, etc.

I like a lot of different types of music, but I’d have to say that Transmatic is probably my favorite. They had a top hit a couple of years ago and were in a lot of movies. I might be partial though,…my brother writes a lot of their music and plays bass in the band!
Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck, Rolling Stones,Stevie Ray Vaughn
ELO, Kansas, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Rush, Def Lepard, Styx, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Genisis, Roger Waters, Journey, Yes, some of todays Country, Green Day, Mettalica, Linkin Park.
A fellow fan! I agree completely.
I like rock. Not the mushy, corny, whining stuff. More like alt metal, punk, metal(Metallica), classic rock, 80’s rock, southern rock…and definitely the “Grunge” bands.
I guess my all-time favorite newer band is Pearl Jam. Them, or Foo Fighters. Older, The Who.
Matt
I mostly like 70s rock groups, like Chicago, The Eagles, Doobie Bros., and some others. I also like some softer groups like the Carpenters and Spyro Gyra, and some classical from Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. But I mostly like Chicago (all of their eras, from 1967-2006).[:D]
To make this slightly on-topic, “Midnight Flyer” by The Eagles is a pretty fun song.[:D]
I see it’s time for me to be a contrarian again.
I’m partial to several Russians you may have heard of - Tchiakowski, Rachmanianoff, Borodin… And of course, the B’s and M - Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and Mozart.
Actually, I like almost anything (rap excepted,) but if I’m picking the tracks, they will be classical.
