MV lenses for HO cab diesels, which size?

Hi, My Intermountain F3’s and P2K EMD and Alco cab-units (E7, E8, PA, FA) would look much better with those beautiful MV headlight lenses. Which size to use? Their descriptions of the web are not clear. Is the stated size their outer diameter or the diameter of the shiney inside of the lens?

refers to MV LS221 for markers and LS11 for headlight for P2K PA units. I think I’ll get some.
