After about 2 weeks I have finally finished installing directional lighting with DCC in my HO scale Athearn SW1500.
I used a Lenz MP Silver mini Decoder which I bought from Litchfield Station I installed that under the longhood of the SW1500. I then installed 12v 30ma 1.3mm incondesent gain of rice bulbs under the roof and between the glass in the cab. I had it running for 15 minutes and no heat melt yet. Then I made a small box colored it black with a magic marker I used square hollow styrene by Plustruct. I left one end open and closed the other off with a piece of eletrical tape. I havent set it up so the lights stay on but only dim cause I really dont know how to do it I need to read the instructions and cv values but right now I am excited due to it runs and I have directional lighting now all I need to do is get more of them LENZ decoders.
