Nice job Scott !
Very nice. Thanks for sharing. For many of us, this represents our introduction to the hobby.
Here’s my Christmas train layout…
Its rather sad compared to yours, but someday I’ll get there[:)]
It never ceases to amaze me how a Christmas layout can evoke smiles from everyone who looks at it. Whether it’s a simple “on the floor around the tree” like Driline’s or a more elaborate setup like Scott’s, it’s a real attention-getter.
I’ve spent so much time working on my basement layout that I’ve run out of time to get my old American Flyer set up for Christmas in the living room - I won’t let this happen next year. Great job guys and thanks for the pictures.
I second Jim’s post. Excellent pictures/memories/emotions.
Happy holiday’s everyone!
My under-the-tree Lionel layout, done up like those I recall from my youth in the 1950’s. My grandchildren are having a ball playing with the operating accessories.

Christmas Layouts are the only time when realism takes a back seat to nostalgia!
