a friend of mine used to run about 10-12 of those old school giraffe cars as a unit train. what a riot it was watching them doing the ‘wave’ as they bobbed up and down in unison over a long straight section.

growing up in NJ and visiting both the Bronx (3376/86) and Turtleback (7913) zoos occasionally, interesting that i wound up in San Diego (7904) able to complete the Lionel hat trick.
