MY first with Lionel TMCC and scale equiptment

I can hardly contain myself [:p]
Today the NYC Lionel FM H16-44 , [made a few years ago] , , arrived here to me . And I purchased a NYC bay window cab , and a Swift reefer [:p][:p]
The rolling stock and the see thru walkways and steps , and the rest of the details , are GREAT [:)]
And I purchased a TMCC to operate the loco with , on my figure 8 on the floor …, and my Wife and myself are really pleased and tickled with all the sounds and features available [:D][:D] ,.
This is fantastic and fun , I am really grining just like this [:D]
This is old hat to all of you , but , it sure is neato the first time a person experiences this much fun [:p]
Just had to share the joy [:)]

Congrats, hope it brings you years of joy.

I agree about those new Lionel Scale Models.

Those details are so supreme on the new Lionel O Scale Cars that it is like having a real freight car rolling down the tracks from days past.

Sounds like you are on your way to a long and happy hobby experience. Nice to read that your wife likes the trains too. Believe me, that is a GOOD thing.

Congratulations! I remember when I fired up my first TMCC engine and couldn’t believe the sound.

Now here is a little secret. If you want that engine to keep smoking for a long long time, learn how to use the ALT 8 and ALT 9 keys. [:)]

Hello,

I run my layout in the conventional mode but the other night, my son and I had our first experience with the TMCC mode of running trains at a gentleman’s house that we had recently been introduced to.

It sure does make operating the trains so much better with all the other options that are available.

Some day soon hopefully we will have either the TMCC or DCS system to run our layout.
