I used to be able to click on the link for My Forum Posts and see a list of all threads containing my posts. THey would be greyed if there was nothing new.
Now I can use the filters, but its much less convenient.
I would really like to see a single click option on the forum that will reproduce the effect of the old link… to provide a list of all threads I have posted to in ALL forums that have new material since my last visit to the thread.
Again… I know I can do this with the advanced options and the filters… but its more work. I either make it permenant then have to undo it to see new threads, or I do it temp and have to go through forum by forum.
Scroll to the top of the thread you’re reading. Look just above the “General Discussion” label and click on “Trains.com Forums”. Look in the bar on the right side of the page under your user info and the threads you have been participating in will be listed there for you to see.
I agree with Chris that some feature would be helpful to quickly see if there have been new developments on the forums you have posted in. This new system does not really distinguish between a more or less dead post and a post with activity.
