My Grand Central Terminal Project

After waiting 3 years for MTH to produce a Grand Central Terminal, I went ahead and started one on my own from scratch.

My first scupt: Mercury Hercules and Minerva

Next step is a little patching and painting

thats a great job. i’m very impressed. makes me want to ask you to make me one and i’ll pay for it.

Great Job on the GCT project. I have been dreaming of tackling that sculpture, but didn’t pull the triggar. If you could mass market those you’d be a rich man. Just wonderful!

I love the detail of the clock.

Nice job–makes me want to catch a cab up to the Waldorf…

Take lots of quality photos and a full list of how you did what you did and where you got the materials…I see a great project for CTT to publish.

Great job! I don’t think i’ve ever seen that modeled before.

Echoing what the others have said, that is a fabulous job! I’ve always had a great fondness for the grand stations of major cities. I’m anxiously awaiting seeing the finished product on your layout! By the way, what are the dimensions?

Beautiful work. How did you do the clock?

Thanks for the encouragement guys. The dimensions of the station are approximately 24 inches across the front by 12 inches deep and 9 inches high. The clock I made on Microsoft Paint, printed it on photo paper and pasted it in place.

Looks great!!! Good to see another NYC fan [:D] [tup]
