My H O scale layout

Hi all…here are a few pics of the layout I started building in November 2007…still a lot to do yet…size 6’ x 14’…a modified design by Leonard Blumenshine from back in the 70s or 80s…

Looking good. You’ve got trains up and running, the important stuff. It also looks like you are coming along nicely with the rest of your scenery base. Progress may seem slow, but having things come out the way you want is important.

Don’t even remember when I started my little 4x6. I’m a little further along on part of it, but you are covering a lot more territory.

Have fun,

Richard

Looking Good. Impressive track work. Would love to see a short video of those Reading units crossing through the turnouts in the 1st photo.

Keep on posting…

Here is an update on my layout progress.

The recent addition of flexible rock wall castings.

This is a spot where I had to remove some layout foam to put in a wall.

Upper area near the oil dealer.

Another view.

In the above pic are the following…the track on the far right is 3% down grade for the mainline…center track is the 4% grade for the “Coal Branch”…the track on the far left with the tank cars is one of two sidings for the oil dealer.

Very Nice! Keep posting pics, love looking at them. Mark

Here are a few pics of recent progress I made on my layout.

A road will go here where the lines are at.

A trestle will go in the opening …it will be an abandoned interurban line.

This area will be carved…there will be a building on the right for a small coal mine.

Thats all for now.
