My INFO on this new forum??

I just realized I had not gone back and filled out my info in my profile.
Has anyone else forgotten this???
I just figured it all was the same.

Marty I didnt update mine right away, like you I thought most of it would remain untouched, however most of my info went poof! All thats realy left is the Interests catagory. I left it rather barren, I didnt want to redo all of it and theres nowhere to do it anyway. I re-added the signiture pic and the new avitar. The new format doesnt allow for much personalization.

Seems to me that there’s altogether too much running around the monitor and clicking to get where you want to go! I find I’m not checking this forum as much as I used to because it is now so inconvenient to use it! Triple that for those who can’t yet get broadband and are stuck with dial up service.

I agree with Bob, this new design is not as user friendly as the old one, but it can do more if you want to take the time to really work it through. I’d rather use my time to work on the railroad so I don’t find myself coming here much lately.

I really don’t like the fact that you can’t see all the responses when you hit “reply” and you only see the one post. It makes it hard for me to follow the thread when I’m trying to reply, I end up making 4 or 5 edits.

I agree also and it was very hard for me to work out how to say anything at all and that not easy for me. I am back on line after a few months in Ireland.

So some of us are computer fobic and some are not. The new software as with the old takes time to learn how to manuver through it. I have only used both the old and new for short time. Just as I became familure with the old, along came the new. I fell GRR gave me plenty of notice of the switch and am finding the NEW is better then the old. So you can teach an old dog new tricks.

I haver changed my mind now that i have got used to it, it’s a lot better now I think.

I have lost my stars though what happened to them and can we get them back ?
