My Little Reality- Nscale Realsim Video! Have a look

So Im a bit embarrassed by my voice over but I couldn’t leave the video as is.

If you’re not sure about what your watching- I took my tiny Nscale layout and tried to film it in the most realistic style possible with a story attached. Tell me what you thinK!

Pretty darn “slick”!!! Hard to beleive it’s N Scale…as a suggestion maybe the soundtrack should be to the music “Let it Snow”!

Nice…

Pretty creative. I enjoyed it.

Oh, and you should do voice-over work.

Thanks for the comments guys! I would have done let it snow if it had been before christmas, but I was too late! I know for a fact I would have been able to pull this off better with lionel or HO just because of the camera depth (In order to get that close with so much detail you need an expensive lens) and they run much smoother at slower speeds.

As for the voiceover work, well…I’ve never heard that before but thanks!

I think your voiceover sounds just fine, and the tone just right. From a technical standpoint, you should put a pop filter over your microphone (or at least the microphone foam) to keep the “P” consonants from overloading your signal.

It should also end with the word, “FIN”

The only part I didn’t like was the Atlas bumper track, but that’s just me

And as for N-scale not running as smooth as HO, you should try a Kato locomotive sometime!

Very nice, thanks for sharing.

I like it a lot just the way it is. I don’t, however, see a need for that long shot at the end. The closeup production and the voice over are great.

This is a beautiful, well-done video that tells a wonderful story. You have a bright future in movie-making, and your voice is well-done.

wouldn’t know it was N scale till you show it at the end, though I wouldn’t quite mistake it for a real train.

hard to believe that that was all shot on such a small layout.

The “snow falling” during it looks great.

The "dusk lighting worked well.

THe “looking out the window shot” {?} looked great also.

Your voice over was fine, but I agree the microphone fuzzy to tone down the sharpness and crackling a bit would help.

Excellent video. I like the creativity, the magic vs. reality, and the neat surprise ending. Well done!
