Hey all. Just wanted to let you know I started a website. I originally just wanted a place to post pictures and stuff and my wife has embellished it a bit. It is still in it’s in infancy so please be nice. [:D] I was wondering if some of you could look and tell me what you think so far. I basically would just like feedback on the layout and color scheme, etc. for now. If anybody has suggestions on things that should be added please tell me. www.prrinho.com
Keep up the good work, and continue with the research, but if those little guys in your picture section belong to you and your wife, they need to see trains running!! God gave us kids to share our interests with, and expose them to a vast number of skills from research to wood working. It is great that your wife shares some of the areas of rail roading in helping with the web site. Train on!! May the GG1’s live forever if only in miniature!

Chris, change “London” to The United Kingdom or Great Britain on the history on the front page. It is a sure fire way of annoying the Welsh, the Northern English and any other Brit. It would be like concluding your discussion of North American RR history by saying “All of this, of course, occurred in Washington DC,”
Aside from this minor thing it looks like you have the making of a very nice web site.
you’re off to a great start !
the color is good , easy on the eyes and lots of contrast with the text so it’s easy to read
the layout is nice , i like the buttons on the left to navigate the site
the only part that i think needs work is the banner across the top of the page , the font isn’t great and the ‘PRR in HO’ isn’t centered over the ‘PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD’ . minor things really , but it could be improved to bring it up to the quality of the rest of the site
thanks for sharing , and please let us know when you do updates
Thank you all for you input into helping me better my site, it’s a lot more work than my wife and I thought, every bit of advice is much appreciated. I’m sorry (you don’t know how sorry) that there are no layout pictures; I have been fighting myself about getting my 79 camaro out of the garage and making room for a layout. I love both hobbies and its hard seeing myself putting the car out in the weather! Rust is no good for the car like dust is no good for the layout, so till I get that straightened out the layout is not getting started. The web site is going to be changing a bit here and there since were two weeks into building it. Thank you again for your tips and comments keep them coming. [:)]
