My new web site

I’ve been working on getting my web site up and running. It should be listed below. If you have suggestions for improvement, I’d be appreciative of your help.

Really nice. I like how you made it on a mac.

Colin,

I like the color choices and they impart a polished feel. Photography is executed well .

Good work.

Ditto on the colour choices. A good job all around. [tup]

Very nice,

I esspecially like your SD50F, GP38-2W, and SD40-2W. I live on the canadian border, so every once in a while I’ll see one of these units. Also, when I clicked on the link for the GP40-2W, it took me to your caboose fleet page so you might want to look at that.

Colin,

That is outstanding work! Beautiful job on the terrain, however, one facet that really jumps out to me is how realistically you weathered the streets and parking areas. That is one area where so many modelers overlook.

BTW: As you’re looking for suggestions…

It would be appropriate to have one or two GMC “Fishbowl” transit coaches in your town scenes.

This one’s on sale: http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/189-44500

This one is painted in a Canadian prototype color scheme:

I tip my hat to the Canadians for having kept GMC Fishbowls in service through the 1990s long after U.S transit and charter bus companies retired them. From my understanding, a significant number of Fishbowls have been meticulously restored by private Canadian owners and are still running.

I really like your overall layout pics shown in your photo album. That is one nice layout anyone would be proud to own. I also like the fact that even though its a point to point layout, you can also run trains continuously in a loop. A nice feature for friends and guests.

I just took a look at your site. Grrrrrrreat job! Only wish I could do work like this. I’m just getting started again after many years of no layout. Maybe you could offer me a few pointers along the way. Keep up the good work. Choo choo

Thanks for letting me know about the bug. If you spot anything else, please let me know. I’ll be working on several improvements on navigation problems through the site.

Nicely done. I too am working on a new version of my current site. I really don’t like the current one to much but I was able to get it up and running in a very short time.

Most of my current time has been taken up with programming my Train Inventory/Operations software. And a little bit on my layout.
