Got my newest toy in the mail today, BLI RSD-15. Man does it run smooth and quiet. Great product, and by the way it came with Kadee’s installed.

Now thats a toy! Very nice!
Neat! I’m new, so if my question is out of line, please forgive me. Where did you get it and what did it cost. Also I note your theme is, “SP Forever.” But your new toy is a “Santa Fe.”
Nice engine!
I’m hoping to get one of Hobbytown’s RSD-5 kits sometime (yes, Hobbytown still exists [:)]) and paint it in Penn Central. I want to do PC because it’s easy, and looks good enough for me.[:D]
This will really tick off the Santa Fe fans , It’s the only one I could get, It will be stripped, new headlights (per SP) installed and repainted SP grey and red, in a month or so. My apologies to the Santa Fe crowd [:o)][:I]
Forgot to add, I’m a patsy, got it at Walthers.
I have one of the Hobbytown Rs-3 ? I think thats what it was, painted it in SSW black, runs pretty good heavy too. Mostly sits on my display shelf looking pretty.[:D]
My newest toy is a sweet little switcher that can pull a track of 20 cars! It is a BLI NW2 in green and orange GN#161. The starter sounds a little strange but I think that is because of the small speaker as opposed to the soundbite on my computer speakers. The rest of the sounds are great. Only one question…Is BLI asleep? Remembering the period they were used, there needs to be a fireman in addition to the engineer provided. Otherwise…Kudos BLI great machine!
I bought a high hood from the Broadway outlet store, see their website. Great engine. Great folks! I ordered a 2-8-2 a week earlier then just couldn’t stand it, ordered the diesel a week later. If I’d ordered them at same time I’d have saved money on shipping but I thought, nah, I can wait till later on. Family Controller (wife) said ok so went for it! Thanks for sharing!
looks nice
