Although I’ve never been there, the pictures of just the outside and the discription of their services… that includes a model railroad hobby shop, in 2 boxcars and a caboose… how could I go wrong. Good bye New Jersey… Hello North Lima, Ohio. Wait, where the heck is that! Ah who cares, Where’s my time card![;)]
Anybody know where this place is? And if you;ve been there, how is it? Just curious.
My Dad order all the track for his layout from a place in NY also. It’s called
Nagengast Hardware and Hobby

His I.D. on eBay is Hobbies001, you can see alot of stuff from him there or buy direct.
He has the cheapest track I could find anywhere. $8.75 for #4’s and 6’s Atlas code 83 and $2.40 for 36" Code83 flex, That’s pretty good. Hans is the owner, a real nice guy. The price could of change since I bought this stuff back in December.
North Lima Ohio and Lima Ohio are two entirely different cities. North Lima is closer to Akron-Cleveland area, and Lima Ohio is located about 70 miles east- southeast of Fort Wayne Indiana off off US 30 via Ohio rte 115, and Ohio rte 165, and Interstate 75.
Yes they did build Steam engines at the Lima Ohio engine works.
US Plastics is also located in Lima Ohio also, they make a lot of styrene.
If they did I think an appropriate name would have been - are you ready for this? - the Lima Locomotive Works.
Nah! It just doesn’t quite sound like a locomotive company!!! Can’t you just imagine a company called The Lima Locomotive Works; can’t you imagine a company with that name producing Super Power Steam locomotives??
