First off, welcome to the forums. You’ll find a wealth of information here from other modelers. My pike is like yours, with a variety of rolling stock and motive power. The way I explain it is that the owner of the local short line grew up riding the rails, so when he amassed his fortune, he bought some of the trains he rode as a youngster. He brings them out occasionally for railfanning trips. Are you planning on getting some Espee passenger cars to go with your Daylight locomotive?
eventually i will get some for my daylight but on hold for right now
