This last weekend I made good progress, on my mill or maybe it’s a creamery.
I kitbashed from two Life Like Supply House kits:
Eventually, there will be a mill pond under the lower building.
The next step is some loading docks and roofs for them. And then maybe some piping and vents on the roof.
Hey Nick… noticed your from Phoenixville PA, any chance you’re in the Schuylkill Valley Model Railroad Club? I was thinking of going to their open house.
I’m from down in Parkesburg (work in West Chester). Unfortunately, there’s no clubs close by for me (unless I want to travel over an hour). Any good hobby shops up that direction?
The buildings look pretty good. I’d lean towards a Creamery. Of course, I have no clue what a real creamery looks like. I might live in the middle of farm land, but all we have are farms, no creameries or mills.
I’m not a member at Schuykill Valley, but intend to investigate it at one of the open houses this year. And there are no hobby shops to speak of in this area. I travel to Lansdale to do my shopping.
