Here are the promised pics of the Scientific Toys locomotive given to me by my dad after some slight modifications.

Above: A train crew checks out Locomotive 12. The man in the durby hat is Victor Creer Betts.

Wonderful! What a delightful loco Captain, - you have every reason to be proud of it [;)]

I want one… I want one… I want one …

Annie

The one you found on e-bay is superior to mine since that one is remote controlled. It has passed my range, in terms of money. It is already at the sale price of a full new set. Now, if I could just find such a new set.

Nice pics Joe, I’ve got VC Betts brother - must be his twin - sat in front of my pc. More sunshine in Two Trees, that’s for sure.
Cheers,
Kim

Great pics, cap’n. You’ve gotta love those “in your face” angles!

Thank you Rene,

I try to imagine what it might be like to see the trains from a “scale” perspective. Your comments mean alot to me, as do everyone’s.

Have a very good day,
Capt Carrales

As always Capt enjoyed the visit to your railway and meeting more of the crew[;)][:D]

Hi Capt Carrales
That is a nice looking locomotive battery powered i assume.
I need something like that in an 0-4-0 any ideas
All you need now is a clockwork one and a live steamer and you have the full set[swg]
keep your eyes open for a mecano reversable mech with key and there is the start of a loco thats just before you ask[:D]
Not to be taken to seriously i hear the clockwork boys can get pretty ***ed serious on operations and god help you if you run out of spring befor reaching the depot
regards John
