N scale 2-6-6-2

Is that suppose to be the N scale version of the 2-6-6-6?

They are two separate locos.

Oh well for thinking they couldn’t make the 2-6-6-6 for n scale. What’s the point of the 2-6-6-2 then?

I don’t know if I understand what you are getting at?

Not every model is made in every scale.

Some are also produced at various times and when the production run is over, they move on to a different loco. You might find an N scale 2-6-6-6 {I didn’t bother to google it} IF someone made it in the past. Or it could come out in the future.

The 2-6-6-2 May have more interested buyers than the 2-6-6-6.

I DO have an N scale 2-8-8-2 that I love. I run it at Christmas time whent he Nscale trains run along side the HO on the under-the-table-top-tree layout.

The N scale 2-6-6-6 Allegheny has been made in very limited number in the past. They’re brass and go for a good part of a savings account.I’ve seen one on Ebay about a month ago, they’re extremely rare. They are the properties of collectors who won’t part with them.
