I cant find anywhere online that sells the Business car for the acela in N scale, all I can find is the business end car not the normal one. Any ideas where to look?
According to the big Bachmann Book of Toys 2010 edition, it appears there is only a first class car and the end business car and the powered cafe and the locomotives in N scale, there is no matching business car to the HO version.
The first class car {if you are looking for it} is available here:

Thanks for the help, though I don’t understand why bachmann doesn’t want to offer the cars to make a full train.
Dunno either. But the N scale set appears NOT to exactly match it’s HO counterpart car for car in the Bachman Trains Book 2010. Perhaps for 2011 they will see the errors of their ways and produce an extra Business Class for N scale?
hmmm. I just read this in the book under the N scale Acela Express Locomotive and passenger cars as individual models in Nscale:
“A typical Acela Express{R} train includes: 2 locomotives, 1 first class, 1 cafe Acela{R}, 1 end-business and 3 business class cars.”
YET, They do not seem to offer teh business class cars. They only appear to offer the 2 locomotives; the Cafe Acela{R} power car; First Class car; End-business class car as individuals. Even the entire DCC OnBoard Acela Express set only contains those cars listed above and nothing else in Nscale.
Yet, the HO version has the same phrase and offers # 89943 Business Class car in addition to the above listing.
They seem to cheat the Nscaler?!
sigh
I say this because my other half, who is also into trains, loves the Acela and does N scale. So my other half may be just as disappointed as you if I get the set for next christmas {2011} Like I plan on doing!
Yeah it doesnt make sense at all, well I guess Ill have to put something else on my list for this year.
I don’t believe such a thing really exists because there were only 20 matched sets made and each set is permanently coupled together. Thats how they can achieve the speeds they achieve and they probably could gO faster if the track btween Washingron DC and Boston was in better condition and all of it had concrete ties.

Since when has Bachmann ever been interested in N-Scale customers? I remember that I had their previous offerings in N-Scale and when the powered car of my 4 car fast train went dead they never bothered to replace it. Ever since then I don’t bother with anything labeled Bachman.
