n-scale conversion

I would like to model the Progressive Rail switch layout featured in June’s MR in N scale. Does anyone know how to convert the dimensions from HO to N scale? I know there is a formula for this, but haven’t been able to find it yet. Thanks Dave

HO is 1:87, N is 1:160, if you figure it out then HO is 87/160ths the size of HO. B-u-t your fingers, which probably will from time to time have to reach between the tracks, aren’t any smaller!

Dave I have added this to my website it is a printable conversion chart for all scales.have FUN!! Ed

David,If you have the room for that layout( a very nice one BTW) I would add the industries that was left out in H.O…What I am saying is don’t worry about scaling it down, use the real track plan, instead of the plan for the H.O layout and add the missing track and industries where you can…Take full advanage of N Scale.

Hmm, my rough math puts it at about 20 meters square. But boy wouldn’t it be fun

Seriously I’m also interested in this layout and would like to see what you finally come up with.
