N scale kato couplers

I just would like to ask wether or not n scale kato knuckle couplers are compatiable with accumate and microtrains.

I have some cars equipped with the early Kato couplers. They are compatible, at least with Micro-Trains, in the sense that they will connect and hold with MT couplers. But these early ones were not magnetic or delayed reaction, and could require a bit of force to couple.

I am not familiar with any more recent Kato couplers.
