what type of runner is this loco? I realize that it lacks detail but what are its operating characteristics? Thanks kirk
I have a Model Power, metal, CN F7. I would rate it’s running as “OK” it is not as smooth as my Atlas GP’s. It has a different whine to it as it goes around my track. I’ve only run it for a few laps so can’t say too much. It is now in line for a coupler conversion as mine came with Rapido couplers. I have a dummy B unit with rapido one end, MT at the other, this let me run it for some fun before tackling the conversion. Have not converted it yet. Will need to look up the recommended coupler on the MT site. (1129 or 1016’s apparently) and pick some up next time I’m in a city.
It has a nice weight to it (which should give it superior traction). And comes in a cool plastic case if that matters to you.
