N Scale Modern Hi-Railer

Is there any way of constructing a modern N Scale Hi-Railer or is there one on the market already? I am looking to add some more realism to a layout I hope to build soon.

Matt try Details West or Custom Finishes for hi rail wheels I think both these companies offer N scale products. there is no current model of hi railers out except for add on stuff.

In HO trident has pickups and the DW hirail kit works with this truck.
Also you might want to do a search of magazine articles here using search words MoW vehicles and hi railers.

I think the Details West and Custom Finishing products are strictly HO. You may have to kitbash a hy-rail set for the Atlas N-scale F-150 or one of the various other models available. Railway Express Miniatures has a compressor kit with hy-rail wheels you might be able to use as a starting point.
