I’m looking for a dummy unit n-scale EMD E8B to match up with my E8A in war-bonnet colors. I can’t seem to find one anywhere. An old powered unit that I could rip “the guts” out of would be ok if priced right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. - I check eBay daily. Nothing there so far.

If I may offer a few thoughts.
Santa Fe is a very popular road. Patience will be required.
If you can find another E8B and strip the paint off. Paint it silver and use Microscale decals for the lower stripes.
Try an N Scale site with a trading post such as Railwire. Join and ask the question there. N-scale yard sale on Yahoo also comes to mind.
You never know what you may find at a train show.
Myself, I’m hunting an E6B, ATSF, from Life Like even though is isn’t perfect. I already have a Life Like NYC E6B/E7B ready to strip and repaint if I finish my other projects bofore I find what I’m after.
What train are you modeling? I’m thinking the E8B units would be primarily on KC-Chicago trains as I believe they were based out of Kansas City.
