Bonjour y’all !

I am in the planning stages of a new shelf layout. I figure I will start with something small and not too expensive.Anyone here have any experience building one of these ?

Does a 1 by 6 shelf around the room with a RR on it count? If so, then yes. (Plus other layouts in N scale and HO.)

knowing your love of building dioramas, how about looking into building a mini-modular N scale layout, like I did? Each module is just like a diorama, but can be connected to form a layout, stored on a shelf.

If you want a small switching layout, check into John Allen’s Time Saver. It was designed as a switching puzzle, but quite a few folks have incorporated it into their layouts as a town or large industry. It would make a good beginning to a larger shelf layout.
