I am looking to scratch build an N&W Depot. Are there any of the original depots still in existence in West Virginia. I am particularly interested in the Pocahontas Division. I would like to visit the site and take photos and measurements.

I no longer live up that way; the N&W Historical Society or the Roanoke Chapter of NRHS may be of assistance. HOWEVER, news appeared today about one of the classic N&W stations in deep SW Virginia at Rural Retreat. The styling on the Rural Retreat station is similar to that of Christiansburg, VA which still stands and was lovingly restored by Dr. James Dorsett, who had been my course advisor at Virginia Tech (he was also a modeler).
