I don’t remember seeing a NAPA Valley Wine Train in a Lionel Catalog. Has anyone else seen it in a catalog? If so, which Lionel Catalog?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks guys. Completely missed it.

Yea I saw them a couple times on ebay … researched lionel … they’re a darn good looking set . Detail in the cars is fabulous .

Most of the time I would agree completly on the details, but Lionel screwed up the figures in the cab. [(-D]

The Napa Valley Wine Train is an attractive set. A set was also made by K-Line twice in the past. The first from the early 1990’s features the former Kusan Alco’s as an A-A combo with a matching set of Streamliners, with passenger window stripes. A second was done early in the 00’s, with more “bells and whistles” including the A-A Alco combo with upgraded details, and a set of Streamliners with interior details. The handsome color scheme was also used for the prototype of the John Wanamaker Train that was proposed by K-Line, but dropped when Wanamakers was sold to the May Company. Ken
