I’m wondering if it’s worth it to travel far to visit a national train show such as the upcoming one in Seattle? I have never been to one of these, came close last year in Toronto but it never happened. I have found that from experience, the larger the train show, the higher the prices are. Any special incentive to go to a “National” show? Are you planning on going this year? Thanks, Don
In a word…
Yes!
The National Train Show is not like anything that I had even seen before and I’ve been to a number of train shows. I will not be at Seattle, but am planning on making the one next year in Cincy. I caught the one in St. Paul as I was helping a small manufacturer with their booth. I did purchases several things there as a very good price! But remember, it is up to you to know when it is a good price. I went back three of four times on two different items before I bought and I am very glad that I bought them. I have not seen a better price anywhere since.
There are displays, and major manufacturers and dealers, dealers, dealers; literally, something for everyone. Everyone should make at least one if they can.
